Pit Stop

I’ve seen motorists swerving while swigging their beer.
I’ve seen crushed armadillos and dead, rotting deer.
But the worst thing I’ve seen on a cross-country drive
Is the Texaco men’s room off I-65!

There are butts in the urinal, stains in the sink!
You open a stall, and good Lord, what a stink!
There’s scum on the floor that you’d swear was alive
In the Texaco men’s room off I-65!

It’s a chamber of horrors so filthy and vile
That a visit’s a sort of Darwinian trial.
For only the strongest are apt to survive
In the Texaco men’s room off I-65!

Hey Scott, if you have a moment consider putting some social sharing links on your posts. I would love to be able to easily +1 many of your poems up to my Google+ feed.

Thanks for the comment, Steve. As soon as I can, I plan to do an overhaul of the site and add some social sharing buttons. Hope to get to that in the next couple of weeks.
