Dear readers, though I love to write
These rhymes, ephemeral and light,
The “daily” era now must close
To free up time to work in prose.
I must announce, a trifle meekly,
The Daily Rhyme will now be weekly.
I’ll post on Mondays, and with luck
More rhymes will sing, and fewer suck.
So thanks for reading, thanks again
For kindly comments now and then.
With pen in hand and tongue in cheek,
I hope to see you here next week!

I’d much rather have a weekly rhyme than have you go dark completely. It’s been a joy to read. Keep up the great work.
As a fairly new fan (because I discovered your site late), I’ve read your archive with delight and been amazed at your ability to provide a new rhyme nearly every day. Now I’ll look forward to Mondays. Will you change your site’s name to theweeklyrhyme.com? Good luck with your prose endeavors.
